I know this is not the same blog as I started this. Many moons ago when my life went pear shaped I stopped writing on this page about life in general.
Today I realized I have been here in Florida for 8 months and I have barely wrote anything about my views of life here.

Not that I have run out of sense of humour or wit nor have a writing block. I still have a whole gamut of stories to tell on culture shocks and few hilarious tales to share.
What I was about to say is June in my head is hot days in the Mediterranean. I have forgotten that on tropical climes June is rainy month. Although I grew up in the Philippines, half of my life had been in Greece and elsewhere.
Now I have to get used to this weather while I am still here.

Today as I was working outside I could see the storm was moving towards us. I immediately grabbed my camera.
The gust of the wind was so strong that our crew mate adjusted our lines immediately. I just stood there to feel the power of nature.
The rest of the crew came out too and we just marvelled how beautiful things are.
H our deckie said ” I love storms”…. so do I as long we are not bobbing out there in the ocean.
Around 830pm as soon we came out from shop I saw this beautiful pink sky with a rainbow. Looking west is a riot of colours…

I was just overwhelmed with this beauty.
Exhausted I had been, I suddenly felt so much better when I saw these beautiful things.

I am blogging from West Palm Beach, Florida.

Litratong Pinoy #10 theme is ” Pag iisang dibdib” literal translation , “one heart”. I am posting here some photos I have taken on Francois and Margot wedding last April 2007.
Francois and I met in 1998 when I joined a boat in Toulon, France. Francois was just then in his early 20s and he is from South Africa. We have travelled in Spain, Italy, Morocco and France and somehow managed to keep in touch. He moved to another yacht and met Margo, who is half Dutch half Turkish. Since then when would meet somewhere along the coast line in the Mediterranean whenever we have time or where are in the same area.

Last year they finally tied the knot, in Venray, Holland. I have taken great wedding photos long even the pre digital days. I went to Holland last year I was not even well, but I plucked all my courage to travel and to be on this special day.

Pahaba… one of my favourite place to stop by either just to rest and see Athens bustle along Panepistimio Ave is the Athens Academy

If you look up you will see some fine sculptures of the Gods and Goddesses.
Outside the building are two marble statues of Socrates and Plato.
Two long columns hold Athina the Defender at 4.11m high (pahaba nga) and of Apollo the guitar player.
So fellow LP members bear with me if I have not visited your entries…

Apat na Kanto… Square…
